RMA marked its fifth participation in The Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart, showcasing advanced solutions for battery manufacturing and energy storage production. The highlight of our booth was the Battery Welder Spot – a fully integrated laser welding system designed to meet the growing demands of modern battery production. The event once again confirmed strong market interest in automation, precision joining technologies, and scalable manufacturing solutions.
The Battery Show Europe continues to be one of the most important industry platforms for us – not only for presenting our technology, but also for engaging directly with manufacturers, suppliers, research institutions, and industry leaders from around the world.
At this year’s edition, we presented the Battery Welder Spot, part of RMA’s Battery Welder product family. It is a complete laser welding workstation engineered for high-performance applications in battery cell and module production.
The system attracted significant attention from visitors who were able to see it in operation, discuss process capabilities, and evaluate its potential integration into their own production environments. The discussions confirmed a growing demand for robust, scalable, and ready-to-deploy welding solutions.
Alongside the machine, we showcased cylindrical and prismatic battery modules produced using laser welding technology. These samples demonstrated a variety of materials, joint configurations, and weld types, reflecting real-world production challenges faced by our customers.
These demonstrations sparked in-depth technical discussions and highlighted the importance of adaptable laser welding processes in next-generation battery manufacturing.
This year’s event clearly reflected a more optimistic market sentiment. Visitors and exhibitors alike showed increased interest in concrete investments, production scaling, and technology implementation rather than early-stage concepts.
Another visible trend was the strengthening focus on European technological sovereignty and localized supply chains. In today’s environment, proximity, reliability, and access to engineering expertise are becoming key decision factors.
“Increasing technological requirements, higher expectations, and a growing awareness of shared industry challenges are driving companies to seek comprehensive solutions within local markets. This year’s Battery Show clearly demonstrated that the European battery ecosystem is maturing, with purchasing decisions increasingly influenced not only by technical specifications, but also by local expertise, support availability, and supply chain security.”
We are pleased to confirm our participation in the next edition of The Battery Show Europe in 2027. This fall, we will also be present at The Battery Show North America, where we will once again present RMA’s latest laser welding solutions for battery manufacturing.
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and shared valuable insights. We look forward to continuing the conversation at upcoming industry events.
